In Joget, is it ok to use the same variable name for "workflow variable" AND "form field variable".

Example: table WPI field (c_)’wpi_application_selection’ value is also used in workflow. If I call the workflow variable ‘wpi_application_selection’ is it ok? The usual placement of this workflow variable in the field properties will be done of course.
