This is especially useful when the AI needs access to the latest news, data, or public web content that is not available within the app or form context.
The tool leverages the Google Programmable Search Engine API, enabling controlled, query-based search capabilities from within your agent's logic.

How to use it
To use the Google Web Search Element:
Adding the Google Web Search tools
- Locate the Google Web Search element under the Tool Plugin section.
- Drag and drop the File element into the “Drop a tool here” section.
Configure form properties
To properly integrate and configure the Google Web Search, set the following fields:
- API Key: Your Google API key used to authenticate the search requests. Generate the API Key in https://developers.google.com/custom-search/v1/introduction
- Search Engine Id: ID of your custom search engine that defines the searchable sites or the scope. Create a search engine in https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/controlpanel/all and get the id.
