Email Tool - Form attachment

Hi

I am using Joget DX 7 Enterprise 7.0.9

I am trying to use the Email Tool to send an email that includes a form as attachment but it does not seem to work.

I can send an email with a File attachment but not a form. 


I am following the instructions below but the description is not clear to me.

  • What is this feature supposed to do exactly?
  • Are the field ids optional here and what are they for? I am confused by the description that says "embed the image attachment in the email and display the image ..". In my case I do not have any images.
  • Is the form supposed to get autofilled with the data submitted by the user and then attached as PDF to the email?

      Hi CF

      Attached is a sample app to give you an idea using the Export Form Email Tool . Import, run the app, fill in the form with yr email address and click submit, an email will be sent to the email address with the filled form as a PDF attachment. The email action is done in Form Builder > Settings > Post Form Submission Processing. Hope this helps you. This app was designed for Joget DX Enterprise/Professional. APP_fill_email_form_as_pdf.jwa

      Did you use the Export Form Email Tool ?

        Yes I did. But this is to send a blank form as attachment.

        I want to send a form (or document - Word, PDF) that has been filled out.

        This is why I was looking at the Email Tool. Unfortunately, as I mentioned in my question, the description of what it does and how to use it is not clear.
